First Holtsville Biathlon of the Summer - June 29

The conditions were perfect for the first TVSC Holtsville Biathlon of the summer!

Cali triumphed in the event for both boys and girls, 53 seconds of Bella's 2020 record.

Seventeen Junior team swimmers particitpated for the first time.

Joey improved his time by 368 seconds or over 6 minutes since last summer, Austin over 5 minutes, Audrey over 4 minutes, Madison and Ben by 3 1/2 minutes, and Sotiris by 3 minutes!

Bryce Baranowski counted by by 50s and lost count, swam and extra 100 meter.  We subtracted 1:18 from his time.

 

The second Biathlon will be held four weeks from today during the last practice of the long course season - Saturday morning July 27.

The Biathlon started for the Junior 1s - lane 8 (far lane) started first, lane 7 two minutes later, lane 6 four minutes later, and lane 5 six minutes later, so all fininsh their 1,000 meter race around the same time - finish times were adjusted.
