2 TVSC Relay Records Fall at Day 1 of Senior Mets

East Meadow, NY -

At day 1 of the TYR Senior Metropolitan Championships TVSC broke 2 team relay records in the Open division. 

The women's 800 Free Relay team of Bella Dimaculangan (2:11.36), Mary Kate Conway (2:08.43), Hannah Brockman (2:14.53) and Kate Sommerstad (2:09.35) clocked a 8:43.67 to establish a new TVSC Open team record.    

The men's 800 Free Relay team of Trevor Green (1:58.96), Liam Preston (1:56.30), Ethan Placencia-Nazareno (1:58.89) and Vinny Vinciguerra (1:59.46) clocked a 7:53.61 to absolutely shatter the old team record by 6 seconds.

In individual events, Kate Sommerstad finished in 9th place in the 800 Freestyle with a 9:14.02, while Hannah Brockman finished in 21st place with a 9:32.84.
